Hi Folks,
I wonder if anyone has the sheet music for the song from the film "Five Pennies" which I believe is called "Five Little Pennies"?
It's the song which Danny Kaye sang to his young daughter in the film.

Melody line and chords will do or full score.....
I've already searched Wikifonia but no luck.

Never heard of this one Bill.

However, I have heard of "Five Little Fishes" - could it be this one?

No Audrey!! The song is called "Five Little PENNIES" smile Have a look at John's Link...........

Thanks John - I've got a recording of the song from the film soundtrack. I guess I'll just have to work out the chords and melody 'The Hard way'......

I've also searched everything I have and can't find the dots. Several places on the internet have the video of Danny Kaye and lyrics but no music sheet.

Hi Bill,

I've also checked my catalogue of music and I haven't got it either.

When I played back the tune, I called George in to listen to it as well as it meant nothing to me, but he says he remembers it. He used to have the radio on all day at work and could name almost any singer or tune. Sadly with age, our memory isn't as sharp as it used to be but I will make enquiries at our next Club meeting. We have members as 'senior' as 91 years old, so maybe he has the dots somewhere in his collection.

Bill.....

You are correct about the Wikifonia.org...
I have searched through everything I can imagine to
look in my computer files.... Cannot find ANY of the
sheets I feel sure I did download....I actually sent
the sheets to me via email from wikifonia....

If/when I do find "Five Little Pennies".... I will
send to you....
